Hibou Scientific Software Pty Ltd was founded in 2011. The initial products, namely Khamsin and Spicule, were designed to extend the 3D environment SketchUp . These extensions complement the 3D capabilities of SketchUp with advanced scientific modelling. The end products are designed to change the way scientific software is viewed and used within the building industry. 

Our mission statement is: 

Hibou Scientific Software mission is to challenge scientific softwares within the built environment and bring to life our vision that scientific softwares should be integrated in the building design process and available to all members of the design team.

We believe that any design team should be able to employ high end scientific software to make educated guesses in hours, not days. Our aim is to give you and your design team the opportunity to integrate modeling early in the building design process by embedding our tools and methodology within your design environment.
